Zeyad el Nabolsy

Zeyad el Nabolsy is a PhD candidate in Africana Studies at Cornell University. He has an M.A. in philosophy and a B. Eng. (in chemical engineering) from McMaster University. He specializes in modern African intellectual history and philosophy. He has published on the intellectual history of Afro-Asian solidarity, Amílcar Cabral’s philosophy of culture, Paulin Hountondji’s theory of scientific dependency, debates about the theory of imperialism in East African Marxism, Amílcar Cabral’s theory of history, and the history of African studies in Egypt, amongst other topics.
