Salma and Jeyran

Salma and Jeyran are friends and Marxist-feminist writers from the Persian-Arabian Gulf. Currently based in Europe, they are students of the modern and global history of the Middle East and West Asia. As scholar-activists, they are engaged in intersecting struggles in and beyond the university, and believe in the importance of working from a politically committed perspective. Jeyran and Salma are active in movements for a socialist future, revolutionary feminism, migrant justice, the liberation of Palestine, and international solidarity more broadly.
