Muntaha Abed
Muntaha is a 26 year old Palestinian feminist, with an English literature background. She’s completing an MA in Gender Studies with Special Reference to the Middle East at SOAS University of London. She’s interested in translation, poetry, and the effect of comparative literature on different cultures, time and space. She’s currently finishing a dissertation on the progress of queer literature and popular culture in the Levant region. Muntaha is an unfinished project, a bookworm, and a simple writer. She’s still searching for a space, another story, another challenge, and home. She doesn’t like systems and rules, and has a ravishing appetite for change. Muntaha is claustrophobic to boxes, stereotypes and mainstreams.
