Madeleine Arnaout

Journalism Graduate - Content Creator - Social Media Enthusiast - Social Justice Believer. Born and raised in Tibnine, South Lebanon, she has always felt the need to be independent and to expand her horizons. She has moved to Beirut seven years ago, and it was and still an incredible ride! She majored in Journalism at the Lebanese University out of her passion for both Arabic literature and freedom of speech. Then, she decided to complete her first year of Masters, specializing in Economic Journalism. Living in Beirut and meeting all kinds of people taught her many things. We are all different in our own way, we are all human and we are all equal. As a woman living in the Middle East, she has always felt the need to prove her worth. That is when she discovered the importance of feminism. She thinks that it is very fulfilling to be actively working to defend your rights, but also the right of others whether they were social, economic or gender-related. She is creative, funny, punctual and productive. In addition, she aspires to thrive in the media and communication fields and hopes to achieve that goal soon.
