Anni Simati

Anni Simati was born in Corfu and currently lives in Athens, Greece. She studied history at the University of Athens and Anthropology of Gender and Sexuality at the University of the Aegean in Lesvos. She teaches anthropology in Panteion University in Athens and she is about to publish her first book based on her PhD thesis about female masculinities and the politics of same sex desire in Greece. She is involved in different kinds of writing dwelling into archives of fragmented desires and pleasures, losses, traumas, and utopias.
