J. Daniel Luther

J. Daniel Luther completed their doctoral research from SOAS in 2019. They co-founded 'Queer' Asia in 2015 and continue to co-organise this work. They are a Teaching Fellow at the Department of Gender Studies in LSE. Their research and work focus on gender, sexuality, decoloniality, and cultural studies in South Asia and in Southeast Asia. They are also a co-editor of 'Queer' Asia: Decolonising and Reimagining Sexuality and Gender (2019). They are currently a Visiting Research Associate at Queer@King's in King's College London, and have previously taught at SOAS, and the University of Warwick.
