Sahar Mandour is a Lebanese-Egyptian journalist who works since 1998 for Assafir newspaper. She is the editor-in-chief of “Palestine”, a monthly independent supplement of the newspaper. Sahar has published a total of four novels: Hob Beiruty, 32, Mina, and Sa’arsom Najma Ala Ra’s Vienna. She was awarded a fellowship scholarship from the Reuters Institute for Journalist Studies at Oxford, Britain. Her study tackled the impact of the coverage development of issues around sexuality on both printed (press) media and TV. Sahar is currently pursuing an MA in Media and the Middle East at the University of SOAS, London.
