Ayesha Latif

Ayesha Latif teaches poetry as a lecturer at Comsats University, Islamabad. She is a working PhD scholar in the University of the Punjab in Lahore. She is writing her dissertation titled as "Vernacular Historiographical Reading of works by Shah Hussain, Bulleh Shah and Piro Preman in the Punjabi genre of the Kafi". Her areas of interest include feminism, vernacular history and literature. If not reading or writing or teaching, she can be seen hiking the Margalla hills in Islamabad.
