Sarah Hamdan*

Sarah Hamdan is a Lebanese Master’s student/feminist political activist based in the Netherlands. Her knowledges are located in her positioning as a queer cis-woman from an upper middle-class. At the moment, she is experimenting with a decolonial, affective, and reflexive research, exploring ways and sites to capture Arab queer subjectivities through various methodologies. Her research is informed by French feminist continental philosophies, feminist onto-epistemologies, postcolonial theories, postsecularism/modernity theories around Muslim subjectivities, posthumanist/New Materialist approaches, and queer spaciotemporalities, through entangling the theoretical, practical and political realms. She is also passionate about cultural freezones and intentional community living.
