Claude Kempen

Claude Kempen is a trans nonbinary writer from Berlin, currently pursuing a PhD in nonbinary theory and memoir at the University of Melbourne. Kempen’s non-fiction work delves into experiences of nonbinary transition (https://www.torch.ox.ac.uk/article/the-answer-is-neither), navigating the loss of their mother (https://anthrodes.hypotheses.org/280), as well coercive and corrective genital surgery during childhood (https://archermagazine.com.au/2024/09/intersex-bottom-dysphoria-hymenect...). One of their poems was published in transcodiert, a Berlin-based queer magazine.
