Nour Almazidi
Nour Almazidi is a writer, researcher, and a PhD Candidate at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Department of Gender Studies. Her PhD research focuses on statelessness, gender, sexuality and class in Kuwait. Her scholarship uses oral history methodology to centre the stateless Bidoon’s political struggles, subjectivities, and lives. Nour holds a BA in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Birmingham, and an MSc in Gender from the LSE. She has previously worked as a Researcher at LSE Middle East Centre focusing on women’s political participation in Kuwait. Nour is a member of the Engenderings editorial collective.
