Saada Allaw

Saada Allaw is a journalist. She was the editor in chief of the investigations section and author of front page articles in Al Safir Newspaper from 1994 and until its closure on January 1st, 2017. She is currently the editor in chief of the journalism section at the Legal Agenda, and a researcher on human rights issues. She is a professor of the Health and environmental Journalism course within the Professional Masters’ program at the Lebanese University. She also teaches social journalism and investigative and feature writing at Al Maaref University’s faculty of journalism. Saada is a trainer on human rights reporting and investigative journalism, as well as gender-based violence and the rights of marginalized people and domestic workers, which she conducts with local and international organizations.
