Khouloud Fawaz

Khouloud Fawaz is a researcher, health promoter, and translator. She did her BS in Medical Laboratory Sciences and is currently a Master of Public Health Student at the American University of Beirut. Her main research interests include sexual and reproductive health, LGBTQ+ health, and health problems among displaced populations. She has been involved in queer feminist spaces, is a member of the local feminist cooperative Dammeh, and the red oak club at AUB, a leftist student group. Her professional experience includes biomedical research at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, reporting at UNICEF, health promotion at Medecins Sans Frontiers (MSF) with a focus on sexual violence among refugee populations, and translation and editing of various sexual and reproductive health material and feminist material for The A Project and Kohl respectively.
